Pharmacogenomics and drug response

Relate genotypes to drug response: derive metabolizer phenotypes, add scores like ABCD-GENE, and test them against outcomes.

How it works

1. Build a cohort of patients on the drug you are studying from prescription records, with the index date at the prescription.

2. Add genotypes and turn them into diplotypes and metabolizer phenotypes, such as CYP2C19 metabolizer status. Add clinical scores such as ABCD-GENE.

3. Compare outcomes by metabolizer status with survival analysis, regression or machine learning.

Where Cipherome started

Cipherome was founded in 2015 to work on drug safety and efficacy with genomics. COMPASS grew out of that research.
